At the tender age of 10 years June Simon began singing,
playing a lead role in a musical her first year. She loved to sing
and perform and success followed her. But just as she was about
to leave for further training in Europe, she got suddenly ill and nine
surgeries later her voice was gone.  With a broken heart, June closed
that part of her life and never thought she would sing again. With her
health regained, she went on to fulfill a busy life even as a corporate
pilot but every Christmas especially, her sadness was felt deep inside
as she silently listened to the beautiful Christmas songs.

      Then as if from nowhere, while she was in a recording studio
helping out a friend - she was asked to just sing the song so he could
feel it better - and there it was!  A new voice, a warm, tender voice,
ready to be heard.  They asked her to record - shocked - she did and she
has been recording ever since.

          Since her voice returned, June Simon is busy, busy - working hard
to supply her fans with as much new and enjoyable music as she can.  In
a short span of 3 years, she has produced six DVD shows with songs that
have won international music awards, placing 1st in World Music.  She has
also produced more than twelve vocal CD's including songs that have achieved international acclaim for their composer and lyricist. One of her early recordings features the Hawaiian guitarist Jeff Peterson who won a Grammy for his excellence.  Moreover, her songs are arranged by Pierre Grill who, also, has received international accolades for his musicianship.
June's songs are full of variety - folk songs, love songs, western songs
after dinner songs, dance music - all filmed in a beautiful musical setting.

Her rich, warm voice and the soul she brings to the songs make her music shows a true pleasure to watch.  Fans are saying they want more. They love the music so much they come home at night , turn the lights down, close their eyes and just listen to her CD's over and over or when they are fed up with the TV shows, they put June on and at the end they feel relaxed and happy. That is precisely what gives June pure joy: the gift returned to her she now shares.
